Stinknet is just my digital home on the web. Its taken major inspiration from how the geocities and angelfire type websites of the late 1990's and early 2000's. Websites back then were far more kitsch in a way, people had to learn HTML and create there sites from scratch. Wix and the sort didn't exist back then, and the endless scrolling minimalist web 2.0 format was yet to emerge on the digital landscape for a few more years. Just the way people were able to make websites that were just their own speaks to me, its just fun and I get to build this website in any way that I desire! The garish tiled backgrounds, the use of buttons advertising millions of web browsers and sites, and the use of millions of gifs. There was just so much charm to these websites that I just had to make one of my own! Stinknet serves as the hub for all of my creative works, and I will continue to update it whenever I have something fun or new to add to it!

HI! I'm Tyler, the proud creator of this wonderful website! Being born on April 19th, 2004 I started using the internet at the tail end of the web 1.0 era of the net, and looking back at YTMD, Something Awful, old fourms and the like just made me nostalgic for the web of old, which is why im here!
